In addition to other OnMail accounts, you can add/access your email account(s) from other providers as well (this feature is limited to three (3) accounts for free OnMail accounts, five (5) accounts for Personal/Professional subscriptions.)
When you import an account, all previous messages you’ve received are synced to OnMail, and all future emails will arrive in OnMail. Common actions you perform in OnMail (read/unread, delete/undelete, archive/unarchive, send, permanently delete) will be synced. However, we don’t sync any previous filters, folders, or labels you’ve previously set up.
* Depending on the setup of the account you're importing, your email provider may require 2-factor authorization, or a special password (sometimes referred to as a third-party app password, app-specific password, etc.) Examples of these include (but are not limited to) iCloud, Gmail, etc. If you receive an incorrect password error, please consult your email provider's documentation, or contact OnMail support.
To add a new account, follow the steps outlined below:
Desktop:
To import your existing account(s), tap on your OnMail avatar → Add a New Account. Choose between OnMail, Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP (for all other accounts.) Input your login information, and confirm any required permissions to connect this account.
Mobile:
To add multiple OnMail account(s), tap on your OnMail avatar → Add another account. Choose between OnMail, Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP (for all other accounts.) Input your login information, and confirm any required permissions to connect this account.
